Technical Services Engineer – Key Accounts
Duties
• Answer technical questions on hydraulic products and circuits
• Collaborate as required with Tech. Services, Engineering, Manufacturing, and
Purchasing
• Initiate and process temporary deviation requests (TDR)
• Initiate engineering change request (ECR), and coordinate implementation
• Coordinate all returned goods authorizations (RGA), initiate TOPS where
appropriate, and provide corrective action status / up-dates to customer.
• Initiate and submit proposal for product development (PPD)
• Test product in house in order to trouble-shoot customer products and support outside application engineers and sales managers
• Manage in house i-Design projects
• Review and ensure alignment between customer and internal drawings.
• Review field warranty submissions monthly for approval/denial of claims.
• Work with manufacturing to ensure timely submission of customer PPAPs and PCNs (part or process change notices).
• Assist customer for their requirements on REACH/RoHS, Conflict Minerals and other as yet unidentified customer requirements similar in nature.
• Work directly with proprietary products design, manufacturing and test teams to ensure detailed designs are fully validated and implemented with the correct process to customer requirements.
• Work directly with customer’s quality and manufacturing to review HF product usage, installation and assembly as a part of the customer process on site with the customer.
• Identify product opportunities based on knowledge acquired during direct on-site interaction with the customer.

Qualifications
• Minimum, two year technical degree focused on electronics or mechanical design
• Proficient with the Microsoft Suite Software
• Read and understand basic hydraulic and electrical schematics

• Trouble-shoot customer products and support outside application engineers and sales managers
• Review and insure alignment between customer and internal drawings.
• Review field warranty submissions monthly for approval/denial of claims.
• Work with manufacturing to insure timely submission of customer PPAPs and PCNs
• Review customer requirements
• Knowledge of quality systems/methodology.
• The qualified candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar technical sales engineer or quality engineering position
• Minimum, two year technical degree focused on electronics or mechanical design, BSEE or BSME preferred
