Department Description :
The Upgrade Operations (UO) department specializes in performing software and hardware upgrades on live customer systems. The UO department focus is on minimizing the customer's downtime during software upgrades in order to optimize their upgrade experience during the moments that matter.
Job Description :
Plan and execute complex system deployments, upgrades, and system expansions.
Create, document and communicate new processes as required by the needs of the customers and the technology.
Look for product, process and documentation improvements and communicate to the appropriate groups.
Participate in project briefings, provide feedback, and follow up whenever issues and defects are discovered.
Improve the quality of the upgrade deliverables, minimize system downtime, and help ensure that a consistent methodology is used when deploying, patching, upgrading, or expanding a system
Basic Requirements :
Bachelor's degree (BSCS, BSEE, BSCE preferred).
