We have an opening for a Sales Engineer in our Sales Engineering Department. This group of engineers is responsible for the sale of our products, as well as technical support to customers. The Sales Engineer is responsible for managing customer relationships and needs, as well as maintaining and developing their assigned sales territory by following up on quote requests, attending tradeshows, and partnering with marketing on leads, among other methods.


Responsibilities

Monitor customer sales activity and nurture new leads and opportunities
Plan and travel to visit customers in given territory(s)
Responsible for developing assigned territory through frequent customer contact, quote follow up, and visits
Developing assigned territory by expanding targeted accounts, working with marketing on various campaigns, hot leads, and attending tradeshows
Act as the primary contact for customers in assigned territory, including phone and email contact
Work directly with various internal customers (including: Marketing, Customer Service, Estimating, Quality, etc.) on pricing, contracts, territory development etc.


Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
A minimum of 3-5 years’ technical sales experience required with strong direct customer contact
Must possess the ability to develop and maintain customer relationships through excellent communication (knowledge of any CRM system and/or sales system a plus)
Travel, up to 8-10 weeks a year
Ability to work under deadlines in a fast paced environment
Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis
